About me

I am a lifelong resident of McCracken County, the son of the late Claude T. (Tom) and Bonnie Cannon, and a graduate of Lone Oak High School, my roots are deep within our community.  

 I attended Murray State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry in 2001 and an MBA in 2014. I also earned a Juris Doctor from Barkley School of Law in 2008.  

I have worked in different plants in our area, I have successfully run a small business, and for the past nine years I have served as an administrator in our county government. 

I have served on the Hendron Fire Board since 2018 including the role of treasurer since 2020.

I have served as the social media director for the Paducah Chiefs since 2016 and on the Brooks Stadium Commission since 2024.

For 15 years I was a member of the volunteer auxiliary at Baptist Health which included a term as auxiliary president and a term on the Baptist Health Paducah Foundation Board.
